The Meanings Of Chanting
Chanting also means the repetition of divine statements and commands. Say exactly what God said and it shall have the same effect when God said it. This was one reason why the Holy Spirit moved David to write the psalms. Unfortunately, due to spiritual blindness, religious leaders overlooked the meaningful, powerful and effective psalms, and misled humanity into praying the rosary.
About this rosary and on the clamour and clatter about Virgin Mary, God had earlier warned the Israelites that there is no Queen of Heaven. Even God promised to rain curses and sufferings upon them for engaging in the worship of a non-existent god. During prayers, you see people fight the demons. Some would shout their prayers as if that is all that is needed to get answer. Others would kick with their hands and legs as if the demons are footballs that you can kick away. Many are being misled. All that you need to cast out demons are the powers and directives of the Holy Spirit. Those who engage in loud prayers, unnecessary demonstrations or noisy worship should know that they are committing sin against the Holy Spirit, who dwells and operates in silence.

Chanting Of God’s Name As A Solution To Demonic Possession
At times, all you need to correct or reform a misbehaving person is to have him chant the names of God from time to time or over a long time. It is disappointing that generally people neglect this very important measure. In some families, schools or gatherings, the adults or leaders often insist on punishment. The punishment is intended to serve as a deterrent to the offenders and to others. But the fact is that many types of wrong behaviours are inspired, induced or motivated by evil spirits, demons, mermaids, ghosts, witches or black energies. Using punishment or threats does not solve the problem. Despite various types of punishment being given to offenders in the society, crimes have multiplied. This is an indication that something is wrong somewhere. A problem caused by spiritual factor needs a spiritual solution. That is where chanting of God’s name is a great benefit.
People who have actively engaged in chanting God’s name know that the practice gives a better and quicker remedy than resisting the demons.
People can chant God’s name by singing it or having a record of it played for them.
Chanting of God’s name is good for schools, hospitals, reformatory, etc.
The real problem is that most often parents, medical staff or school authorities overlook chanting as a corrective measure. They insist on using punishment, while the situation becomes worse.
